Hello fellow beauty addicts,
I am a bit late to the Korean skincare party though I know so many UK women are truly loving it. What really interests me from what I have read is that a lot of it is cruelty free and vegetarian.
Mizon was founded in 2000 by a team of cosmetic beauty specialists and let’s be hones, for it to still be going and have reached the UK shores it has to be of the best quality and a a really good face cream.
So what have I learned and noticed about this cream … well … it has a lovely thick consistency that really smoothes out onto the skin and is readily and quickly absorbed and I have noticed it gives a lovely matte finish, most important if you are wanting to put your make up on quickly in the morning.
The ‘placenta’ mentioned in the name comes from the part of the plant that feeds the seeds of the plant and the flower. It is rich in amino acids, peptides, trace elements and minerals. For this reason it is known to be highly nutritious for your skin.
So what will this do for your skin then? It contains Hyaluronic Acid and Trehalose which helps hold moisture in your skin. Also sagebrush, yarrow and rose extracts which all soothe, plump and nourish skin.
If your skin is feeling a bit grey and flat this will really nourish, hydrate & brighten the complexion for you and really give skin a lift and boost.
This cream is perfect for all skin types including sensitive, it is soothing on my skin as well as nourishing and it feels like it really smooths my skin out texture wise too.
