Bodhi & Birch Have A Fabulous New Website & New Product Launches Coming Soon!

Hello fellow beauty lovers,

Bodhi & Birch have just launched  their new website, not only that they have an Organic Super-food range launching soon (oh yes) I can’t wait! Not only that but Elijah has been working on reformulating on that which was already a stunning product – The Beautiful Organic Desert Rose Face Oil. I didn’t think he could make it much better but some how he has tweaked it and it is stunning!

One of the oils he took out of this oil was wheatgerm oil which can cause people with wheat allergies some problems. So this has made the oil more open to people who could not use it before.

One of the oils he added was an organic prickly pear oil which was a new one on me , looking at the ingredient list it is very high up on the list and I know Elijah the founder really has not scrimped in any way in the making of this oil. He only put the finest ingredients together and put in what really does need to be there. I always pick up a beautiful balance from Elijah, someone who has life in balance, he gives off that lovely nurturing feeling and he has certainly nurtured this oil and brought it to life beautifully.

I did a little read up on the prickly pear oil. It is fantastic on older skins, it plumps, helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and it is packed full of essential fatty acids, Vitamin E & Vitamin K a big buzzword in the beauty industry right now. It smells soothing and wonderfully fragrant with Damask Rose and just a hint of the sharp pear coming in underneath.

It is packed full of antioxidants so a great addition to the Desert Rose Oil which is already full of beautiful organic oils like Rosehip, Argan, Star Flower & Evening Primrose this oil is incredibly lightweight. It sinks beautifully right into your skin as the oils are so pure, the fragrance of the Damask Rose coming through and a hint of pear, not sweet pear but a hint of wonderful crisp pear.

Everything in this bottle is designed to soothe the mind and spoil your skin, give it a beautiful nourishing treat full of beautiful ingredients it is so balanced and a little bottle of joy that you really treasure. It is silken, super lightweight and it sinks completely into the skin as it is very pure and there is no residue on your face just velvety soft nourished skin.

Bodhi & Birch have just launched their new website this weekend and with every purchase you can get a free luxe sample of the Desert Rose Oil. So go take a look here, I can recommend so many things that I love like the Pep Noir, Siam Ginger, Mint The, Rosemary Chi shower gels (yes I am a shower gel lover and hoarder!) Not forgetting the unforgettable Mint The Temple Balm guaranteed to kill all lurgy from 10ft! Great for stress, colds, flu you name it this balm helps lots!
I keep it beside my bed, it seems to kill off colds for me so when anyone is near me with the cold out comes the balm like holy water lol (works for me).

Anyway you can check out the website for yourself and perhaps bag yourself something nice and a free sample of the Desert Rose Oil!

New website is here –   Bodhi & Birch

Siskyn Grapefruit & Sweet Fennel Toning Body Oil.

Hello Beauties,

Siskyn was created by two sisters Emma & Sarah who had a host of different skin conditions ranging from very dry, combination, to oily, and sensitive!

After trying so many ‘good’ products to help themselves, they found a lot of products lacking in quality and plus found they were full of silicone’s & parabens & preservatives.

So they decided to learn about skincare and about quality ingredients and how that mattered, they decided to start their own range of 100% organic, pure vegan oils of the highest quality there is .. and so Siskyn was born, an ‘eco luxe’ brand bringing you the finest blends of high potency oils from across the world!

As I get older I look more and more to organic products, clean, green beauty that really hydrates my dry skin. Quality of ingredients matter so much more to me now, it has to work.

Ok so back to my Grapefruit & Sweet Fennel toning body oil! I got this in my Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box and It smells so good you could eat it. The sweet fennel – that light aniseed cutting across the citrus of the grapefruit is just a heavenly mix and I am hooked.
I am going to have to get a full size.
For me I know something is good when I pick it up time and time again and I do that with this oil … as my mother always said ‘Where the heart lies the feet wander’. So true!

It is delicious, my skin loves it and drinks it up, it is a blend of 14 organic botanical oils to stimulate, redefine, tone and hydrate your skin. It has black cumin oil & carrot seed oil, well known for their deeply hydrating qualities and as you massage it on with the lovely scent of the sweet fennel & grapefruit you just feel so good using it. This has to be the best body oil product I have picked up and been crazy about in years.

Absolutely mad about this oil and have my eye on a few others too. Currently trying the Frankincense & Jasmine nite oil and I have the Camelia & Safflower hot cloth cleansing oil on the go too, enjoying using a lot of high quality oils at the moment. But right now this body oil is my favourite!

If you love good quality ingredients, organic, vegan or are just learning about how important it is that good quality ingredients make good quality skincare then take a look at Siskyn Oils .. they are winning awards everywhere and it is not hard to see of feel why, they are stunning and they work …

That is it for now folks

Paul Yacomine Micro Duo Hair Serum/Oil

Hello beauties

Me again lol!

This time with a topic very close to my heart! Hair serums & oils – isn’t it such a minefield to find the right ones for your hair that don’t weigh it down or leave it feeling lank?

So I have been trying the Paul Yacomine Micro Duo for hair is a pair of serums/oils that do not build up on hair or weigh it down. It is designed to wash completely out of your hair as well and not leave a build up which so many serums can do and I really detest feeling any build up of any sort in my hair!

These are less is more products, they are designed to be so lightweight but so efficient so you do not have to overload your hair with product. These refined products are what all hair serums & oils should be like!

They smell amazing too, with organic Argan oil, Rose oil, Rosemary, Patchouli, Orange and Geranium they are not only super refreshing on the hair but they are uplifting smells. Really worth noting that the Micro Treatment Oil also has sunscreen in as well so it is nourishing and protecting your hair on a daily basis and oh boy it smells heavenly!

I mostly leave my hair curly and the hair dryer and straighteners only really come out if I am going somewhere so I just scrunch in some Micro treatment oil from half way down my hair to the ends and then if I am going to finish it off with the hair dryer I add the Micro Finish Oil.

The Micro Finish Oil No3 is for dry frizzy hair (yep that is me) you use it on damp hair and it is formulated to penetrate the hair shaft deeper to condition, smooth dry hair, take down frizz and give some shine, definition and curl to hair that normally would frizz!

These oils not only smell amazing but they work like a dream and it is very easy to see why they have a big celebrity following .. for hair that smells, feels and looks stunning with no frizz (most important if you are a celeb I would imagine!)

You can see in this picture how much it really has tamed my curls, no frizz in sight and they look totally conditioned and shiny!

So if like me you struggle with unruly hair that rules you then this magical duo really is worth a go .. oh and did I mention how incredible they smell .. you will be sniffing and swishing hair all day …

There is £7.50 off this Paul Yacomine Duo with this month’s Libbie Club if you are interested. They have worked wonders on my frizz for sure.

Bye for now
