Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel

Hi everyone,

I am a big lover of the elemis face masks, scrubs and this wonderful Papaya Enzyme Peel is multi award winning and it does all the hard work for you!

Natural fruit enzymes of Papaya and Pineapple are fantastic for nibbling off all your old skin. If you have a bit of raised skin or bumps around your pores,  this product is really good at working on those areas and dissolving the skin, making the pores look a lot smaller and flatter .. which can only be a good thing for all of us 🙂

It is a light peachy toned creamy mask for the face and neck, some also use it on the backs of their hands and it is meant to be fantastic on extremely dry heels on your feet tho i have never been that extravagant with it …

It also contains nourishing milk proteins to help condition the skin , antioxidant rich vitamin E and marine algae to moisturise, repair and protect this skin, its paraben and sls free, contains no mineral oils, artificial colours or silicones.

All you have to do is apply a thin layer (it doesn’t need to be thick as that’s just a waste of product) a couple of times a week and it does everything for you, just apply to clean toned skin  and leave for 15 mins and i take mine off with a hot cloth for super soft, peachy skin.

I sometimes like to use my Gentle Rose Exfoliator mixed with a little warm water and applied to the face when taking the face mask off for an even softer, smoother finish to my skin, it just seems to help target any stubborn areas that just need some gentle encouragement to be on their way, it will give you super smooth radiant skin …

This product is perfect for my skin as its so gentle but effective and someone who has more mature skin i have more old skin to get removed, my skin is drier, the skin that sticks and forms fine lines and wrinkles and this is why i love it so!

You can find the enzyme peel on QVC or Time To Spa, i always find QVC has the best deals and offers and that makes it all a lot more affordable but it seems to be out of stock there for now but it is in stock on  Time To Spa  Papaya Enzyme Peel

Oh and just incase anyone doesn’t know there is a fabulous Elemis offer coming up on QVC tonight!!

It’s under £40 and on  its also on 4 easy payments, it is incredible value, Elemis like to really push the boat out every christmas on QVC, it is a truly wonderful gift for yourself or for someone you love dearly. I think the value speaks for itself in the picture …  QVC

Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator

Hey there fellow beauty junkies!

Want to tell you a bit about my Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator and why i love it….

My skin is very easily irritated and i find some exfoliators too harsh for my skin and they leave me red and blotchy, particularly on my forehead and cheeks, plus i have some broken capillaries/thread veins that do not like to be overworked and scrubbed too much..

I seem to get on much better with a gentle exfoliation almost every day than a strong one a couple of times a week.

This rose exfoliator has Absolute of Moroccan Rose, very rare and very expensive! Rose oil on your skin is extremely soothing, it takes down redness and calms the skin and this exfoliator hydrated as it goes leaving my skin lovely, smooth and soft, not irritated.

What the rose exfoliator is also fabulous for is for exfoliating gently around the eye area, there is very few products gentle enough to do this and this one does it brilliantly, i do get old dry skin in that area and its fantastic to run this gently over the whole area and get rid of all the old dead skin that gathers up and causes wrinkles!!

This product is an all round win for me, i genuinely do love it for the reasons stated, please do not exfoliate around your eye area with anything harsh as it could do long term damage, make sure it is gentle and hydrating as this one is and your skin will be left silky smooth.

If you have any of the skin issues i have then this product really is a godsend as its so gentle but effective in the long term…..

Elemis Quiet Mind Relaxing Bath Elixir

Hi everyone :-),

When i need my head clearing, my fibro pains are bad, or i just  need to regroup, chill and relax, this is the scent i love to relax in!

The heady scents of Eucalyptus, rich and spicy Lavender ,  patchouli, ho wood and shea butter make it an addictive combination that i keep coming back to time and time again, for me its like a treatment for body and mind as it can really help both so much.

I associate this scent with pure relaxation. it really does soothe an achy body and ease a stressed mind, this is one of my products i will not be without, when i finish a bottle….i am always making sure i have another lined up, for me it is pure decadent luxury and it is highly addictive 🙂

Once  capful of this hits the hot water and the aromatic oils  fill not only my bathroom but the whole flat with that wonderful scent , i know it really is going to ease my pains and my mind and hopefully let me get some sort of nights sleep,  the scent just sends me to a happier place …Eucalyptus is really known for clearing the mind and easing it, high grade Lavender oil really has the most wonderful spice kick to it to relax and aid sleep

I have the Temple Balm too which i use on my temples and wrists so i can keep getting a whiff of the scent all night long, it is a pretty powerful head clearer, great to use on a stuffy head, blocked sinuses or a cold even, it a real head clearer!

I olso have the pillow(lol) spray too but i don’t think i can get the pillow spray anymore for some reason *sob*,  which is a shame because as you can tell its a scent i am pretty much hooked on lol, makes your bed linen smell amazing!

Well those are my thoughts for today! What clears your head, relaxes you and helps you to get some sleep over a period of stress ?

Bye for now

Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser and Rodial Light Brazilian Tan

I love a lot of products that Elemis do …soon as i saw it i had to have it, but sadly it did not live up to my expectations!

I so wanted it to give me  that lovely golden glow i craved! But after using it for 5 days in a row i cannot see any difference in the colour of my skin, it was also a tad drying too which is a real shame!

Don’t know where Elems have gone wrong here but soon as i wash of cleanse my face in the evening, everything goes including the light bit of colour that this product did give me , all i know is that after using faithfully for 6 our of 7 mornings i am still pale.

Now i know this is a gradual tan product but wheres the tan if any ? If i am going wrong somewhere i would love to hear what that is…. i have applied after toning, with a serum underneath, without a serum, without exfoliating and with exfoliating (right at the start) and then left it to see if i could actually get some colour up but alas it was not to be!

But all is not lost as i have my trusty Rodial Brazilian tan in light and this just gives me enough colour to look healthy and i adore it! It lasts about 5 days too ..Result!!

People notice when i have it on and compliment me and say i look healthy and i couldn’t be happier with it . The clear tan they do is fantastic too, i have been very lucky in finding my perfect tan shade for pale Irish skin with a hint of blue lol!

The travel size of the Rodial can be purchased off e-bay so you can try it before you fork out for a full priced product and this is definitely worth trying if you don’t like your colour to be OTT but still like to be able to see some shade but not tangoed lol

Thats my thoughts for today folks
