Little Ondine Nail polish in Red Red Wine

Hey everyone,

I have to confess I am not the best at nail art or having perfectly manicured nails all the time. Having been a chef for over 20 years I was just never one who got round to sitting working with them because as soon as I had the polish on and nailed .. it was time to get it off in a hurry and back to work .. add in they are thin and bendy.. it is just not my strong point at all!

Now in saying that, I do like nail polish and now have quite a stash of polish! I am a magpie for some glittery nails .. I can’t mess up a sheer nude glittery nail lol! Somehow Little Ondine have managed to suspend pure organic colour pigments in a resin and water base to bring incredible polishes with amazing depths of colour and gloss.

So when I got sent Little Ondine nail polishes to try I have been kinda obsessed since for many reasons ( I have a few of these now). If I make a mess I can quickly peel it off (often) If I change my mind on colour (often) I can just peel it off and start again!

Add to this there is no odour so you can do your nails anywhere now there is also no need for smelly old nail polish remover either!

If you are a hardcore Shellac polish sort of a girl who gets 3 weeks out of a manicure, then this won’t be for you!

If you are a woman who likes a weekend manicure and needs to take it off Sunday night in a panic then this is your sort of fuss free and care free nail polish that gives you a superb high gloss finish and colour and does its job incredibly well.

I got this polish in Red Red Wine a beautiful deep Burgundy shade that is rich, luxurious, glossy and expensive looking. The depth of colour just mesmerises me .. it really does and it is an all year round shade.

I get about 3 days out of one of these Little Ondine manicures and that suits me fine as by that time I want a different colour on. You could of course extend the life of these polishes by sealing them in with a top coat & base coat plus the glitters will always be more hard wearing.

But for me this is what nail polish should be .. fun frivolous and never tied down to any shade for too long, that suits me and I am sure a lot of other people perfectly ..

I’ve never tried anything from this brand, but it sounds great and this colour in particular is gorgeous. I love deep shades like this. I am terrible at doing my nails yet don’t want to keep paying for them to be done. I also don’t like the faff of taking it off and doing them again so this might be the answer!
