tis that time of the month again when i peek into my Birchbox and see what i have received :-), the box costs £12.95 every month and to be honest it really is worth your while logging onto Birchbox about the 10th of the month and unsubbing because of the fabulous special offers they do around the end of the month to get you to sign up!
They pretty much showboat and they must know everyone now does this for the offers because they are too good to miss .. So lets get started ..
Cattier Pink Clay Mask x 2 i do love a good clay mask to pull out impurities and this one left my skin feeling really soft and glowy it has Argile Rose (i wonder if its knitted lol) and Aloe Vera both very soothing and hydrating to leave a lovely finish on my skin.
KMS California Tame Frizz £15.50 i feel i can never have enough anti Frizz products as i have quite fine curly hair and lots of it, but need to find ones that don’t actually hold the hair down and make it look flat or greasy. This is a lovely light cream formulation and with the heating on and the wind blowing it will hopefully hydrate and keep it conditioned too!
Shaveworks ‘The Cool Fix’ £11 is a cooling gel lotion (like a toner) that treats ingrown hairs, razor bumps, and redness after Hair removal. Saw a few saying it stings a bit so i have so far chickened out of using it on anything freshly shaved.. but i love the smell and the cooling sensation i get from it on my skin and will muster up the courage to get it on tonight after my shower ..
Pixi by Petra Shea Butter Lip Balm £8 in Sheer Raspberry is a hydrating lip balm, with shea butter and vitamin E, it has a wonderful coconut type of fragrance, feels very smooth on the lips and has a sheer wash of colour to it which you can build up if needed.
Meaningful Beauty Anti-Ageing Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules £39.95, i have wanted to try some products from this range for quite some time after having the pleasure of trying some Dr Sebagh products last year.
Dr Sebagh is the man in the know behind Cindy’s products, his own creams sell for over 100 a pop and the ones i tried disappeared quickly into the skin, were extremely hydrating and left my skin feeling like a peach.
The capsules release a lovely light serum that is not oily, greasy or heavily scented, its very light and disappears with no trace just leaving hydrated happy skin. Sadly i am not sure that 7 capsules is enough to change my skin or make up my mind as to if they are amazing or not, but i do love how quickly they sink in and how my skin feels after.
The last item is a Birchbox Pen and i really am not too sure what to say about this other than someone at Birchbox has a wicked sense of humour! I will let you draw your own conclusions… lets just say i won’t be whipping it out of my handbag to sign anything important lol ..
The box olso has a pink canvas toiletry bag and and promotes ‘cop a feel’ it encourages us all to set a date on out calendar to check out breasts and having lost friends and relatives to this horrible disease i know how important it really is ..
Finally there is the ‘freebie’ that was on special offer with the box and that was ‘The Balm’ Nude ‘Tude Palette and this really is a beautiful palette, i love the shades and textures. Highly pigmented with rich nude shades to smoke out for day and night, a sparkly, matte and satin textures this really is a beauty of a palette … ❤
Well thats it for this month’s Birchbox, once more extraordinary value for money along with the palette and special offers that come along with the box, i look forward to see what Birchbox do next!
Bye for now
