The Glamour Beauty Power List box

Hello everyone,

Latest in Beauty’s latest collaboration with Glamour Magazine is another match made in heaven! Not only is it excellent value for money at £15.99, free postage included it also has a voucher for a years free subscription The Glamour online magazine for Pad or IPads, plus it comes in a pretty snazzy box  too …

So lets get started! First up is one of the items that has really made this box for me and its the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, this is a lovely light primer, its not strongly scented and the fact that it is vitamin enriched to keep you glowing is an added bonus! Its also non oily on my face which is particularly good for around my nose area which can get shiny as the day goes on, you can really tell this is a top quality primer! It kept my makeup in place all day.

The next Item i am excited to try is the James Read Sleep Mask! Who doesn’t love James Read?? He makes the stars look amazing and so naturally tanned! I have tried a few of his products before with good results, no splodges, tan lines or orange (most important). I wake up looking healthy which for me is a really good thing and priceless because when you see in the mirror that you look good it sends messages to your brain that oh …i look good therefore i feel good 🙂

Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence conditioning Spray, Mr Kingsley is hairdresser to the stars and his Elasticizer is just amazing on my hair! I forgot to use this spray on my wet hair last night but put some on the ends this morning, it smells amazing, is very light, fresh and tamed my curls quite a bit today so thumbs up for this fab product too!

This Autumn nude eyes and lips seem to be all the rage and there is some truly stunning makeup about  and this Nude Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick is no exception, it is almond scented, mine is in the shade ‘Coffee Craze’ , there was five different shades put into the boxes so i will love seeing what everyone else got!

Bourjois Volume 1 second Mascara, i prefer a volume building mascara to lengthening as my lashes are pretty long but fine,  so i like something that is going to thicken and not be clumpy. This mascara promises just that 360% volume the second its applied .. and clump free definition .. sold! This one will be a keeper.

How nice of the lovely people at LIB and Glamour to give us some Eyeko to take out new mascara off with :-), Personally i am not a fan of wipes at all as they can really badly strip your skin, so i am always wary but i may give these a go at some point as i detest mascara on my cleansing cloth…

Last but by no means least is the fabulous Liz Earle Cleanse and polish complete with a muslin cloth! Is there anyone who has not tried this cleanser?? One whiff of the scent and my whole body just sighs and relaxes, this beautiful cream cleanser takes off the most stubborn of makeup while giving you a wonderful sensory experience , i must have or must try for just about every woman!

Again i think the value in these Glamour boxes speak for themselves they say £83.47 value for £15.99 and i have to wonder does that include the value of the postage and the online magazine deal too …all i know is i just love these boxes for up to date and top quality products!

Well those are my thoughts on this box, amazing value and full pf products that i myself will definitely use always with these boxes there is a card offering you discounts at the brand;’ various websites or in store if you decide to purchase something ..

I would love to hear what you thought about your box too ..

Bye for now

Nicola x
