The Konjac Sponge Company

Hello everyone,

Today i am going to tell you about a little beauty secret and its my lovely Konjac sponge! They are 100% vegetable fibre sponges and they come in a host of varieties for different skin types from anti aging with red clay, bamboo/charcoal for oily, spot prone skin, green clay for oily/combination skin, pink clay for tired skin, and theres a few new sponges for all skin types. I got mine in my Fighting Fifty Travel Essentials Beauty Bag

The one i have is the Red Clay sponge for dry, damaged, and mature skin and its oh so fab! Completely non drying. These sponges sit lovely in the palm of your hand, they exfoliate your skin while giving it a good deep cleanse, they can be used with or without a cleanser and are gentle enough to be used on babies!

My sponge has really helped calm my skin down, i get dry patches which can go red and itchy and this sponge seems to have stopped this happening, i have a few thread veins on my face too and my sponge is gentle enough not to irritate them, plus they purify too stopping any spots before they get a chance to start or spread, it just glides gently over your face, it definitely left my entire face feeling calm and hydrated after cleansing.

You can really feel the sponge gently gripping and cleansing your face, the clays make these sponges very balancing and really help with any excess oil problem areas like around my nose area plus it ph balances my skin. Theres a lot to love about what these lovely silky soft sponges do! Just done squeeze it out too hard when done and it should last you around 3 months.

It really is worth your while having a read and getting the correct sponge for you skin type i reckon the green clay sponge would really be a godsend to someone with really oily skin because the clay would really make a huge difference to controlling the oil production!

Anyway this is why i love my little sponge so much, at £7.99 for 3 months use you cannot really go wrong with the sponges and you can find them here along with a full host of vegetable sponge products, i cant wait to try some more

Have you ever tried one of these sponges? I would love to know what you think of yours ?

Thats it for now

The Wonderful Indie Lee

Hi everyone,

Indie Lee is a relatively new brand to the UK,  Indie is from NYC , she only uses the finest ingredients, is totally vegan and pure but very effective!

I will start with the Calendula eye balm, I was sceptical at first about it erasing black circles around the eyes but the Mango Seed butter really does seem to have faded them quite a bit, Really impressed with this eye balm and would hate to be without it!

The completely natural and waterless balm is very refined , it also has squalene, Lavender, avocado, and vitamin e oils to make this a lovely rich cocktail , perfect for night time to totally nourish the fine skin around the eyes. It took down any puffiness. dryness  and in general it really improved the skin around my whole eye area. I can honestly say my eye area looks 100% more hydrated and healthy looking!

Just warm some of the product up on your ring fingers and gently pat around the orbital eye area and i like to dab whatevers left over my upper eye led to help take down some puffiness i have, its a beautiful solid balm full of goodness for the eyes!

You can find it here at , its out of stock a lot as its so good! You need to sign up to be notified when it is back in stock!

Next is the Indie Lee CoQ10 toner , made with purified water its got Co Enzyme Q10, Hyaluronic Acid, Chamomile, Sage, Papaya leaf extract and cucumber extract to name but a few of the hydrating ingredients in this power packed toner and its all vegan and healthy! I just love this toner, its so soothing on my skin and its giving me that much needed hydration my skin needs, my skin tends to be very sensitive and dry so it was fantastic to find this toner and range of vegan products . Just sweep over your face on some cotton wool morning and evening after cleansing, or i prefer mine in a spray bottle lovely and cool from the fridge and allow some of this toner to sink into my skin to really get the benefits from the ingredients

Theres a good range of Indie Lee products available on A Beautiful World, i cannot wait to try some more, the products are so beautiful and effective, i love to know what i am using has no harsh chemicals or parabens! Just lovely smooth, happy supple skin!

You can find out lots more about Indie Lee products from A Beautiful World, that hosts a lot of natural and organic niche brands really lovely company who have gone out and brought us some really fabulous brands to the UK

Well thats it for now folks, just to say i love writing my wee blog, i find it very relaxing and calming and one of my little cats Jake who rarely leaves my side finds it very relaxing too lol

Bye for now

Cult51 Night Cream

Hello everyone,

I really like to use a product and get to know it for a couple of weeks before i make a statement about it.

I was fortunate to get a sample of Cult51 night cream in my Fighting Fifty Travel Essentials Beauty Bag, it is completely different from anything i have ever used!

This cream promises a lot from the off so i purposely stayed away from reading or watching any media about it at all, i wanted to look in the mornings and make my own mind up about it as i thought surely it cannot do all those things!!

You do not need to layer up on serums and eye creams, you just use the Cult51, it does everything, i was skeptical allright …

From the first application i could feel it lifting, firming and tightening my face like an invisible force field from the very first application, my neck and chin felt lifted, my pores had virtually gone, fine lines and wrinkles were very diminished, around my eyes appeared brighter and lifted too!

My skintone got better and better every day, my thread veins were less obvious and my skin gained a lovely luster, it was happy and calm, the lifting i felt lasted all day too, everything did not go back to normal after i had cleansed it off, i could see and feel the results all day.

I have absolutely no idea how this incredible cream works all i know is, i can see and feel like it does, my skin looks more youthful and healthy it glows, my eyes were brighter and less puffy too. Its no wonder this is called a cult product, after one use its easy to see why and to top it all off it smells amazing!

I am ready to throw or give away my stash of good night time skincare and throw myself into a pot of Cult 51, never have a seen a cream deliver on so many levels, it has to be tried to be believed, so if you are 35+ what are you waiting for?

One cream for everything, your night time regime slashed by at least half (now who doesn’t love that)

Does it do what it claims? Hell yes it does …and then some!

Is it worth the £125 price tag? Well yes considering its your neck cream, serum, eye cream and night cream all in one!

I cannot recommend this cream highly enough, it really is a wonder cream!

I would love to know if anyone else has tried this cream and what they thought of it?

You can read more about Cult51 here

Well those are my thoughts on Cult51

Bye for now

This Months LoveLula Organic Beauty Box

Hi everyone,

LoveLula is the only beauty box i subscribe to as its organic and i love organic products for my skin, having very sensitive skin i do my best to avoid products with parabens and sls! Other than that Latest in Beauty is for me the best thats out there because they also take skincare very seriously…

First up is Tan Organic certified organic self tanning oil, i have to say i am a very light tanner and only really use a fake tan when we get a real sunny spell. I am pale and Irish and i feel i have been tangoed one too many times lol. But i will most certainly give this a go!

It looks good in its glass bottle and wooden lid, its natural, hydrating, promises an even fade and is suitable for face and body!

Next up is a beautiful wee Eco Tools eye shadow brush, now i don’t know about you but i believe a girl can never have enough good makeup brushes and this one is right up my street , soft, fluffy but with substance to it.

There’s a Hurraw lip balm which is orange flavoured, super juicy ripe oranges YAY! Made with cold pressed Orange Peel oils, smells just like the real thing! A refreshing balm to have in your handbag.

I don’t think there’s anything John Masters does that doesn’t smell amazing, filled with lovely plant extracts and essential oils i doubt this Lavender and avocado will dissapoint me, i have some of the lavender shampoo left from last month and i will use them in the evening for a lovely relaxing, soothing treatment before bed.

Last but not least is a Sophyto total protection Serum, i find with a sachet it looks disappointing but in reality i get about a week out of one of these because you do not need very much at all,, couple of drops is all thats needed. This one seems to be like an environmental shield, full of antioxidants , enzymes and Resveratrol (from red grapes) it is a lovely amber colour. I have a real thing about lovely amber shade serums, it just looks so good it has to be good for you lol!

THe loveLula is a monthly subscription box and you can sign up here “http://”

thats it for this months LoveLula Box

I hope you liked it

Rodial Glamtox Peel, total bargain alert!!

Hello peeps,

I want to tell you about the latest bargain i have acquired lol!

Its the Rodial Glamtox Peel and its in their last chance section down from a whopping £72 down to £14 and it really is a beautiful face mask.. the blurb says it has instant lifting and firming effect, smooth out lines and wrinkles by reducing stress in the skin, helps fade age spots and pigmentation, it definitely left my overall face a lot brighter…

Its a combination of fruit acids and clay, it has left my skin so lovely and smooth on top of the fab skincare i am using right now from my Fighting Fifty Travel essentials bag and my skin has never looked better!

There is a light almost mousse texture, glides on evenly to your face theres a cooling tingle, tho it dries to a clay it doesn’t smell strongly of Kaolin.

It has given my skin a beautiful luster and glow , my skin is as smooth as a peach! I am pretty bowled over by this mask!

So much so i went back and bought another!!

It won’t hang around at £14 for long so catch it quick, i cannot see anyone being disappointed in this fantastic face mask …

Until next time fellow beauty addicts
